The Alex II sofa is a great clean design, yet not too modern. Shown in a white prewashed denim slipcover, this 79 inch sofa can stand up to everyday use and then you can just throw the slipcover in the washer! This sofa is built by Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams (www.mgandbw.com). The frame is made of 5/4 inch kiln dried hardwood with joints which are double-doweled, glued and high pressure stapled. Corners are reinforced with blocks that are screwed into place. The spring system is made of 8 gauge steel serpentine springs.
